As per Regulation D.G. n. 23 del 22/02/2010 in the ZRS of river Nera the fishing season opens - experimentally - at dawn of April 01th (Wennesdy)) and closes at sunset of November 1 nd (Sunday). Modifications/restrictions are possible, in case of natural-biological reasons.
ZRS 1 (SPECIAL
SECTOR): Use of artificial baits and with a limited catch.

1) ZRS 1: Artificial lures sector – limited bag – River Nera
The sector goes from the pumping station of EON S.p.a. (loc. Le Lastre - Cerreto di Spoleto) upstream to the inlet point of river Corno (loc. Triponzo) for a total of approx 2 km.
Authorised techniques: flyfishing, spinning and “moschera”. Authorised baits: artificial flies/lures, single hook, barbless.
Authorised bag: one trout per day, minimum size 30 cm from nose to tail. No fish caught In other stretches are allowed in the bag. Anglers must register the caught fish immediately on the Regional Fish Registration card as per article 7 of R.R. n. 5 dated 12/11/2001. Once allowed quantity has been reached, the angler may continue fishing “no-kill”
Documents in addition to National Fishing License:
1) Regional Fish Registration Card (Euro 5,16 ) where all kept trout must be registered.
2) Fishing licence valid for year 2008 (Euro 30,00). It’s compulsory for this ZRS 1.
ZRS1 is NOT at limited access. Therefore, no booking is required.
ZRS 2: No-Kill river Nera
The sector goes from loc. Piedipaterno (Comune of Vallo di Nera) upstream to loc. Ponte (Comune of Cerreto di Spoleto) for a total of approx 9 km. Fishing regulation as per past season.
As per Province Regulation of A.R.S. ( D.C.P. n. 9 of 10/02/2004 ) and G.P. n. 78/2007, fishing the ARS 2 Nera No-Kill is possible as follows:
1. entering the water is allowed only to unhook the fish in the following sectors:
-A “monte”-Between the two bridges near the Province Fish Breeding Center (this sector is well evidenced by white/red plates all long the river)
2. no more than 25 anglers per day are allowed in the ZRS sector:
- 12 anglers in the “A Monte” stretch
- 13 anglers in sectors “B” and “A Valle”;
3. If sector “A Monte” has been chosen, the angler cannot fish and move to other areas of the river. If sectors “B” and/or “A Valle” have been chosen, the angler may fish and move from one to the other sector
4. It is possible to book only one fishing day at a time. No cumulative days booking is allowed.
5. More fishing days can be booked together only if they are consecutive.
6. The River Keeping and Booking Service is authorised to accept two anglers exceeding the maximum quantity in case of foreign people who have not been able to book in advance.
7. As per art. 5 of Regulation, modified by D.C.P. n. 9/2004, in the ZRS in the province of Perugia entering the water on Nera basin is allowed only for fishing purposes (unless otherwise specified). Transit and entering the water for other purposes by any means (boats included) is strictly forbidden.

SPECIAL OFFERS FISHING SEASON 2010
For 2010, special opportunities are offered to those fishing the No-Kill sector of Borgo Cerreto – river Nera.
Holders of fishing tickets for the No-Kill stretch ( ZRS2) are allowed to fish also the ZRS 1 of Triponzo (Artificial Lures – Limited Bag sector) without any extra charge and extra ticket (Regional Fish Registration Card is compulsory, since fish can be kept in accordance with rules);
Each fishing ticket for the No-Kill stretch (ZRS2) includes an extra day in the Triponzo sector; the set of 10 daily tickets includes 10 extra days.
How to use the tickets:
1) on the same day, the angler may move from the No-Kill stretch (ZRS2) to ZRS1 in Triponzo. The fishing ticket is fitted with relevant spaces to be duly filled in.
2) the angler can choose to fish only the ZRS1 sector any day during the fishing season. The fishing day must be duly noted on the fishing ticket. Please note that fishing the Triponzo stretch does not require any booking.
It is possible to use the “3 days on the Nera No-Kill” formula (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) for a total of 36 Euro instead of 45 Euro, thus reducing the daily ticket from 15 to 12 Euro/day (valid only on the above three consecutive days).
Last but not least, holders of ZRS1 and ZRS 2 tickets can take advantage of special conditions offered by hotels, restaurants, agriturisms, country houses and the like agreed by Legambiente. A special Card will be delivered together with the fishing authorisation, to be shown to the hotel/restaurant reception. Legambiente Gestione No-Kill is also available to book, if required to do so by the angler, the staying in the chosen premises. Confirmation will be sent to the angler by sms or email.
